Bear Trax 20K & Brownie Shuffle

Congratulations to our winners! Our top five men in the Bear Trax 20K were Dan Sodemann (1:22:28 - Dan is pictured at the top of this e-blast with Jimi Sellars), Scot Van Asten (1:23:19), Neal Miller (1:23:50), Matthew Krall (1:26:11) and Jerry Sellars (1:27:16); and our top women were Emily Kurian (1:28:46 - Emily is pictured above), Jennifer Garcia (1:36:46), Stephanie Gurgel (1:42:24), Catherine Campion (1:42:48), and Jenny Stuber (1:42:59).

Our Brown Shuffle winners were Holly Lauesser (16:51) and Bill Gilmore (17:33). Special congrats to Holly who was not only the women's Brownie Shuffle winner but the overall winner as well!

Thanks to all the participants, sponsors and volunteers that helped make the 2013 Bear Trax a big success! What started as a small way to remember a dear friend has grown to an annual event that raises thousands of dollars for the Nancy Sellars Memorial Foundation, a fund dedicated to causes close to the heart of Nancy Sellars, a Milwaukee area endurance athlete who was killed by a drunk driver in 2008. The foundation is an unincorporated, non-profit association, dedicated to the enhancement of the public trails and waterways within Southeastern Wisconsin, supporting bicycle safety and rights awareness initiatives, and taking action to educate the public on the dangerous effects of drunk driving.
